The NISI Launch Mission
This proposal outlines how NISI Launch will train university students as interns to become
global business mentors. Established technology and community foundations will then help validate, support, and
fund vetted startup ideas.
Modeled on HealthTree
Peer support. Expert access. Practical events. A scalable, trust-driven ecosystem designed
to combat “startup poverty” — much like how HealthTree Foundation built Cure Hub to
support cancer patients through community, education, and guided expertise.
Active Pilot — Africa
The Nail It Then Scale It (NISI) method is already being used in Africa through BYU-Pathway
Worldwide, where college professors teach one of the world’s fastest-growing startup programs on the
continent.
How it flows - Nail It Then Scale It
The NISI Startup Hub trains university students as global business mentors, then sends them on
"startup missions" into the world's most underserved communities — equipped with AI tools, the Nail It Then
Scale It
framework, and peer support from the NISI network. Modeled on HealthTree's Cure Hub, the program turns isolated
founders facing startup poverty into a connected, educated, and empowered community. Ideas that survive the
community validation process are presented to the Tech Community Foundation for funding — closing the gap
between
potential and execution, one startup at a time. Already active in Africa, this is entrepreneurship as the cure for
global unemployment.
